Character trait

I'd like to introduce my novel character "Ben". He is only 13 year old.
He has very pure mind; for example, his father brought monkey for research and Ben treats this monkey as a family. Ben doesn't have prejudice, so he dosen't judge something by it's cover.

I can't find anything that admire him, because I just read 28 pages, I need to find out more personality about him from the book.

I think that I am not similar with Ben, because I have some kind of prejudice in my mind.

There is not much about information yet, so I should read my novel more.
