My novel is "Half Brother", Written by Kenneth Oppel.
I just read this book about 18 pages, so I don't really know about details, but I can tell you basic summary.
The main character is thirteen years old boy, His name is Ben. His father is a behavioral psychologist. One day his father bring a monkey to determine chimpanzees can acuire advanced language skills. His parents tell him to treat this monkey like little brother, and after that Ben see this monkey more than just an experiment, but his father doesn't think that way. Those are basic summary for whole story.
Now these are what I have read for 15 pages.
Ben is 13 years old boy. Her mother is not with them for work, and His father got a new job at the university in Victoria, so they are moving Toronto to Canada. They could have flown, but Ben's father wanted Ben to see his own country. At first day, they talked a lot, actually Ben's dad did. they spend eight hours in the car, and every day Ben's dad got a little quieter. Finally on day six, they got to Vancouver and took the ship across to Victoria. They arrived at new house. It was in the country, because Ben's dad doesn't want neighbors. After one day later, Ben's mom came back with ugly baby Chimpanzee. This chimpanzee was reason why they moved here, because Ben's father is a behavioral psychologist. He studied the way animal acted.

Your novel sounds very interesting hyung :). That's very good to read and understand more about what the children think. I bet this novel will contain a big humanity. Keep reading and remember to tell me the rest of the novel :)
답글삭제Your novel sounds much more interesting than mine. I think you will learn something and be touched by the story. If I have next time that I have to prepare a novel by my self for class, I am going to choose your book.
